For Candidates

Your next move deserves careful consideration.

Whether you are actively looking or simply considering your options, we offer a confidential conversation about your experience, ambitions and what you want from your next role.

We work with Partners, Legal Directors and Senior Associates across London and the UK. Our core markets are Private Client & Tax, Family, Employment, Real Estate, Rural & Landed Estates, and Private Wealth Disputes.

Senior and partner moves

Senior moves. A considered approach.

For Partners, Legal Directors and Senior Associates, a move involves more than a job title or salary. We explore the quality of the platform, scope to develop your practice, leadership responsibilities and prospects for progression.

Where relevant, we also discuss client relationships, business development expectations, remuneration structures and the support available to build a team. Sensitive information is handled carefully, with the timing and scope of discussions agreed with you.

Our approach

Advice built around your priorities.

01

Understand what matters

We explore your current work, reasons for considering a move and longer-term ambitions. This includes the matters you want to handle, team culture, progression, remuneration, location and working arrangements.

02

Explore suitable opportunities

We explain why an opportunity may suit you and discuss the points that need closer examination. Where appropriate, we can agree targeted approaches to firms rather than limiting the conversation to advertised vacancies.

03

Prepare and present

We help you present your experience clearly through your CV and a supporting candidate summary. Before interviews, we provide preparation on the firm, the team and the role, then discuss feedback and next steps with you.

04

Support the move

We help you assess offers, clarify outstanding questions and navigate resignation, notice periods and starting arrangements. We remain in contact after you join.

You stay in control of introductions.

We never send your CV to a firm without your permission. Before an introduction, we discuss the opportunity and agree how your details will be presented. We also check any previous applications or approaches to avoid duplication.

You do not need to be ready to move to speak with us. An initial conversation can help you understand your options and decide whether the timing is right.

Start with a confidential conversation.

Tell us a little about your current practice and what you would like to explore. You can contact us whether you have a specific role in mind or would simply value a view of the market.
